The ADuM41601 is a USB port isolator, based on Analog Devices,Inc., iCoupler® technology. Combining high speed CMOS and monolithic air core transformer technology, these isolation
components provide outstanding performance characteristics and are easily integrated with low and full speed USB-compatible peripheral devices.
Many microcontrollers implement USB so that it presents only the D+ and D− lines to external pins. This is desirable in many cases because it minimizes external components and simplifies the design; however, this presents particular challenges when isolation is required. USB lines must automatically switch between actively driving D+/D−, receiving data, and allowing external resistors to set the idle state of the bus. The ADuM4160 provides mechanisms for detecting the direction of data flow and control over the state of the output buffers. Data direction is determined on a packet-by-packet basis.
The ADuM4160 uses the edge detection based iCoupler technology in conjunction with internal logic to implement a transparent, easily configured, upstream facing port isolator.
Isolating an upstream facing port provides several advantages in simplicity, power management, and robust operation.
The isolator has propagation delay comparable to that of a standard hub and cable. It operates with the bus voltage on either side ranging from 4.5 V to 5.5 V, allowing connection directly to VBUS by internally regulating the voltage to the signaling level. The ADuM4160 provides isolated control of the pull-up resistor to allow the peripheral to control connection timing.
The device has a low idle current; so a suspend mode is not required. A 2.5 kV version, the ADuM3160, is also available.

The LM2576 series of regulators are monolithic integrated circuits that provide all the active functions for a step-down (buck) switching regulator, capable of driving 3-A load with excellent line and load regulation. These devices are available in fixed output voltages of 3.3 V, 5 V, 12 V, 15 V, and an adjustable output version.
Requiring a minimum number of external components, these regulators are simple to use and include fault protection and a fixed-frequency oscillator.
The LM2576 series offers a high-efficiency replacement for popular three-terminal linear regulators. It substantially reduces the size of the heat sink, and in some cases no heat sink is required.
A standard series of inductors optimized for use with the LM2576 are available from several different manufacturers. This feature greatly simplifies the design of switch-mode power supplies.
Other features include a ±4% tolerance on output voltage within specified input voltages and output load conditions, and ±10% on the oscillator frequency.
External shutdown is included, featuring 50-μA (typical) standby current. The output switch includes cycle-by-cycle current limiting, as well as thermal shutdown for full protection under fault conditions.

The P82B96 is a bipolar IC that creates a non-latching, bidirectional, logic interface between the normal I2C-bus and a range of other bus configurations. It can interface I2Cbus logic signals to similar buses having different voltage and current levels.
For example, it can interface to the 350 μA SMBus, to 3.3 V logic devices, and to 15 V levels and/or low-impedance lines to improve noise immunity on longer bus lengths.
It achieves this interface without any restrictions on the normal I2C-bus protocols or clock speed. The IC adds minimal loading to the I2C-bus node, and loadings of the new bus or remote I2C-bus nodes are not transmitted or transformed to the local node. Restrictions on the number of I2C-bus devices in a system, or the physical separation between them, are virtually eliminated. Transmitting SDA and SCL signals via balanced transmission lines (twisted pairs) or with galvanic isolation (opto-coupling) is simple because separate directional Tx and Rx signals are provided. The Tx and Rx signals may be directly connected, without causing latching, to provide an alternative bidirectional signal line with I2C-bus properties.

The TL431LI / TL432LI are pin-to-pin alternatives to TL431 / TL432. TL43xLI offers better stability, lower temperature drift (VI(dev)), and lower reference current (Iref) for improved system accuracy.
The TL431 and TL432 devices are three-terminal adjustable shunt regulators, with specified thermal stability over applicable automotive, commercial, and military temperature ranges. The output voltage can be set to any value between Vref (approximately 2.5 V) and 36 V, with two external resistors. These devices have a typical output impedance of 0.2 Ω.
Active output circuitry provides a very sharp turn-on characteristic, making these devices excellent replacements for Zener diodes in many applications, such as onboard regulation, adjustable power supplies, and switching power supplies. The TL432 device has exactly the same functionality and electrical specifications as the TL431 device, but has different pinouts for the DBV, DBZ, and PK packages.
Both the TL431 and TL432 devices are offered in three grades, with initial tolerances (at 25°C) of 0.5%,1%, and 2%, for the B, A, and standard grade, respectively. In addition, low output drift versus temperature ensures good stability over the entire temperature range.
The TL43xxC devices are characterized for operation from 0°C to 70°C, the TL43xxI devices are characterized for operation from –40°C to 85°C, and the TL43xxQ devices are characterized for operation from –40°C to 125°C.

The SHT21 humidity and temperature sensor of Sensirion has become an industry standard in terms of form factor and intelligence: Embedded in a reflow solderable Dual Flat No leads (DFN) package of 3 x 3mm foot print and 1.1mm height it provides calibrated, linearized sensor signals in digital, I2C format.
The SHT2x sensors contain a capacitive type humidity sensor, a band gap temperature sensor and specialized analog and digital integrated circuit – all on a single CMOSens® chip. This yields in an unmatched sensor performance in terms of accuracy and stability as well as minimal power consumption.
